Automation and control

Digital protection, SCADA, RTU/RTAC, excitation and industrial IT/OT networks.

Core service

Today's stations and substations are as much computer systems as electrical systems. FORWA handles this IT/OT convergence, from digital protection through to network and SCADA integration.

We test and commission protection and control systems: digital relay secondary injection, teleprotection, direct transfer trip, input/output testing. We integrate and verify SCADA, RTU and RTAC, including real-time controllers tied to SEL relays, as well as governors and digital excitation (AVR).

We also configure the industrial communications network (architecture, IP addressing, switches, firewalls, PLC and HMI), power quality measurement (IEC 61000-4-30) and secure remote access.
